“In addition to recognizing these five leaders, the U.S. Water Prize has become a unifying star for the water sector,” explains President Ben Grumbles of the U.S. Water Alliance. “At a time when water challenges are reaching crisis proportions due to aging infrastructure, fiscal restraints, climate change, etc., 10 businesses have joined forces to sponsor the prize. These water services businesses, engineering, and consulting firms are driving innovation toward integrating and collaborating for more sustainable water solutions.” Lead sponsors include Pirnie/ARCADIS, Veolia, CH2M Hill, Brown and Caldwell, and AECOM. Supporting Sponsors are CDM, Black & Veatch, MWH Global, Burns & McDonnell, and HDR.
